The Perfect Garlic. 2 heads of garlic olive oil for drizzling on top. salt just a pinch! 1. Heat oven to 190c (375f). 2. Cut off the tops of the *full* head of garlic, just so almost ever clove is exposed. 3. Add a touch of salt. 4. Drizzle a little extra virgin olive oil on them (not too much!) 5. Place into the center of a sheet of foil and form into an 'open air' bowl. Add about 1/4 cup of water to the bottom and close the bowl completely. 6. Bake for 1 hour. Once this is done, the garlic is extremely soft, you will easily be able to spread it upon your favorit bread any type of hard crusty bread works great!
